                           SEND Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor

    SEND Teaching Assistant, Salary Grade 4 £25,989 per annum pro rata 25.40 hours  per week. Working 39 weeks per year. (approx. £15,278 pa)

    Midday Supervisor, Salary Grade 2 £24,796 pa. pro rata, 5 hours per week. Working 39 weeks per year. (approx £3,163 pa)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

     

    The hours of work as a SEND Teaching Assistant will be 8.30 am to 12.00 and 1.30 to 3.05 pm Monday to Friday. The role of Midday supervisor at lunchtime will cover the hours 12.00 to 1.00pm Monday to Friday. This role will be to provide high quality supervision of the children during lunch break.

    The Governors of our friendly and successful school are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant and Midday Supervisor to help us achieve our aims of getting the best from all our children in their learning and personal development and to support the safe and effective running of the After School childcare at our school where  children will enjoy and thrive.

     

     You will:

    • Have experience of working with children in an educational setting.

    • Have completed or be willing to complete NVQ level 2 in childcare learning and education. or equivalent qualification. 

    • Be enthusiastic, imaginative and reflective.

    • Be skilled at building excellent relationships with children, parents and staff. 

    • Be an excellent communicator.
