  • Headteacher's Welcome

A very warm welcome to Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School. We are immensely proud of our Christ-centred learning community, which is guided and inspired by our Mission Statement. This statement is not just words—it is lived out each day by all members of our school family. It calls each of us to action and reflection, reminding us that every person is created in the image and likeness of God, and is therefore deserving of dignity, respect, and love.

At Corpus Christi, we are committed to providing the highest quality care and education, recognising and celebrating the unique gifts and talents of every child.

"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
    John 10:10

Our pupils achieve excellent progress in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics—consistently performing well above local and national averages. However, we believe that education is about more than just academic success. Our broad and balanced curriculum supports the development of the whole child through enriching and engaging learning experiences.

We proudly offer weekly specialist-led lessons in Art, Music, Spanish, and PE, ensuring that each child benefits from high-quality cultural education.

"Just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ...
For in one Spirit we were all baptised into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit."
    1 Corinthians 12:12-13

Our mission is to nurture each child’s emotional, spiritual, and social development—supporting them to flourish and grow into the person God has created them to be.

We are committed to forming young people who are prepared to serve others and contribute to the common good. We understand that parents and carers are a child’s first educators, and we deeply value your partnership in supporting your child’s journey.

    Every blessing,
    Mr. Simon Lennon
