The Governors of Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated SEN Teacher to work within our developing SEND Hub and support children with a range of additional needs across the school.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN practitioner or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who has undertaken specialist training or placements within an SEN setting and is passionate about ensuring that every child can achieve their full potential.
We are looking for a teacher who:
Is an excellent classroom practitioner, or aspiring to become one, with a commitment to inclusive education and high-quality teaching for pupils with SEND.
Has a secure understanding of a range of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
Can plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning experiences that enable pupils to make excellent progress academically, socially and emotionally.
Will inspire, nurture and challenge children to achieve their full potential whilst promoting independence, confidence and self-esteem.
Has high expectations of behaviour, achievement and inclusion for all pupils.
Demonstrates a commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for children with SEND.
Can work effectively with class teachers, support staff, parents, carers and external agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to provision.
Has a desire to build upon the school's high standards of pastoral care and commitment to pupil wellbeing.
Can communicate effectively with all stakeholders and develop positive professional relationships.
Is committed to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
