    Pastoral Support Worker (PSW)

     32.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (Term time only).

     Salary Grade 4, £25,989 pro rata (approx. £19,549 per annum). 

     

                  Hours : Monday to Friday  8:30 am - 3:30 pm with a 30 minute break

     

    The governors of this friendly and successful school are seeking to appoint a pastoral support worker to work with our pupils and families. 

    You will:

    • Have a willingness to train or be a trained Thrive Practitioner.

    • Have an understanding of or experience working with children with neurodiversity.

    • Support pupils with behavioural, emotional and/or social needs.

    • Have experience of working with children, ideally in a school or pastoral setting.

    • Be enthusiastic, imaginative and reflective, compassionate and caring.

    • Be skilled at building excellent relationships with children, parents and staff. 

    • Have experience of working with parents and carers.

    • Have experience of working with other professionals.

    • Have received or be willing to receive the two-day safeguarding training and have experience of safeguarding procedures.
