SEND Teaching Assistant, Salary Grade 4 £25,989 per annum pro rata, 30 hours per week. 

Term Time only. Working 39 weeks per year and paid 44.65 weeks per year. The hours of work as a Early years (including Pre-school) & KS1 SEND Teaching Assistant will be 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute break.

 

The Governors of our friendly and successful school are seeking to appoint an early years/ Preschool SEND Teaching Assistant to help us achieve our aims of getting the best from all our children in their learning and personal development and to support the safe and effective running of the Preschool/EYFS and KS1 childcare at our school where  children will enjoy and thrive.

 

 You will:

• Have a willingness to work and support children with special needs 

• Have experience of working with children in an educational setting.

• Have completed or be willing to complete NVQ level 2 in childcare learning and education or equivalent qualification. 

• Be enthusiastic, imaginative and reflective.

• Be skilled at building excellent relationships with children, parents and staff. 

• Be an excellent communicator.
