School Performance Data
On this page you will find Corpus Christi’s statutory results for the end of EYFS, Year 1 Phonics, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for the past three years. Please note that in 2020, schools were asked by the Local Authority to submit data based on teacher assessments alone as statutory test materials weren’t required due to COVID-19. Teachers considered a range of classroom evidence to base their teacher assessment judgements on and along with our effective tracking system, we are confident that this is a true reflection of our 2020 attainment.
You are able to see that our results stand out against the average performances of schools locally and nationally. We are very proud of the teaching we offer and the fantastic results the children achieve year after year.
Some of the abbreviations are explained here to help you.
EXS - Expected Standard - A child working at the expected standard is working at the level expected for their year group.
GDS - Greater Depth Standard - Working at greater depth means a child has mastered the learning expected for their age and year group and is therefore able to show a greater understanding of the learning possibly through justification and reasoning.

Early Years Foundation Stage
There are 7 areas of learning in EYFS with 3 prime areas (Communication and Language, Physical Development and Personal, Social and Emotional Development). Each of these areas are subdivided so overall we report on 17 different aspects of learning as you will see in the following report. It details the percentages of these three prime areas of learning and two specific areas of learning (Literacy and Mathematics).
To achieve GLD a child must achieve the Early Learning Goal in the three prime areas and Literacy and Maths.
